ICE Cream DaZe

Acrylic and mixed media on canvas

Bright, layered abstract painting with saturated colors and dense markings, evoking overstimulation and visual excess.

Developed early alongside performance concerns with overstimulation, this work embraces excess as a methodological problem. Color and mark operate at the edge of readability, producing visual noise that mirrors bodily saturation. The painting resists containment while simultaneously documenting its limits.
